We are seeing increased block rates for SMS Messages to certain non-US countries (e.g Mexico and the Philippines) Please use app-based MFA if trying to sign in from one of those countries.
Resolved
We are resolving this as we are no longer seeing customer reports. We still strongly advise using an alternate MFA method (e.g authenticator app) vs SMS if you have a non-US phone number

We are seeing our SMS provider block a high percentage of SMS messages to certain foreign countries, especially Philippines, Mexico, and Pakistan. If that is not possible, our support engineering team can allow-list any current numbers if you reach out to us.
